Due to the pandemic we had to postpone our concert, originally planned to mark the 250th birthday of Beethoven. Fortunately, every year is Beethoven year! I’m so happy and thankful to perform the complete works for cello and piano with my dear friend István Lajkó.

Showcasing pieces from my recent recording “HERITAGE”.
I’m happy to share that this year’s edition did not get cancelled, only postponed! Instead of April, we are going to perform in October, with a few program changes, due to pandemic regulations.
The International Bach Festival was founded in 2015 by friends of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from Amsterdam and their colleagues from the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria.
The first program of this year's Bach Bridges Festival is dedicated to one of the greatest living Hungarian composer, György Kurtág. It reflects his love of chamber music and his close relationship with composers in the past, such as Bartók and Schumann. The young emerging world-renowned Hungarian cellist Ildikó Szabó will introduce solopieces which will soon be published on her latest CD.

The third Bach Bridges Festival at the Budapest Music Center is once again a collaboration between musicians of the Budapest Festival Orchestra and their colleagues of the Royal Concertgebouworkest from Amsterdam with the artistic direction of Michael Gieler and Péter Szabó. Their programs in this edition are dedicated to two of the greatest composers of all times, Bach and Beethoven. We are delighted to introduce a number of very promising young artists in our festival.
We will keep the tradition of starting each concert with the psalms of Csaba Szabó.
After their concerts at the BMC most musicians will continue to make music together at the International Bach Festival of Gran Canaria.
The Bach Bridges Festival is a joint project between the Music Stages Foundation from the Netherlands, the Csaba Szabó International Society from Hungary and the Budapest Music Center.
I have been a proud scholarship holder of the Study Foundation of the German Nation since 2013, and I’m more than happy to participate at their concert in Weimar, playing works by Brahms and Britten.

After 7 years it is time to finish my studies at UdK Berlin! It has been quite a journey, and I feel very emotional about this recital, which supposed to be just an exam as many other ones... Franz Schubert: "Arpeggione Sonata"

I'm immensely grateful for my teacher, Jens Peter Maintz, for the past 14 semesters - he has been a constant source of motivation, inspiration, knowledge, humour, and most importantly he helped me through this complicated phase of becoming a young adult.
Last but not least I'm thankful for the coachings of Alfred Brendel, Péter Eötvös, and Rita Wagner - they had a huge influence on me generally, but also particularly on this program.
Looking forward to play at the Hay Festival with pianist Roman Rabinovich!
